Capitalism in the Habermasian theory

One of the major social transformations that Europe has experienced is capitalism. Capitalism is defined as a creative-destructive system. In other words, by eradicating the traditional institutions and relationship styles, it constructs new institutions and relations instead. Culture, society and personality are deeply influenced and changed within these relationships. Naturally, this drastic change brings very pathological results. Habermas expresses these results as loss of meaning and freedom, iron cage, new paganism, reification and alienation, legitimacy crisis. In order to amitigate these pathologies, he presents a new theory to humanity. The name of this theory of thinker is 'communication-rationality' theory. This theory focuses on the fact that man cannot be instrumentalized in any way. Our country, which has made great efforts in the path of economic development and prosperity, must determine and develop new paradigms so as not to fall into the pathological conditions in which capitalist societies fall. In this way, it is very important that the policy makers and academic circles of our country consider Habermas' related theory.
