Abstract (EN)

It is not difficult to determine that love has been accepted as one of the most sublime emotions throughout the history of mankind and that this concept is discussed in various aspects in the hadiths of the Prophet. In the example of the Prophet, who was sent to the worlds for mercy and compassion, love emerges as one of the highest degrees representing unconditional love with qualities such as goodness, beauty and maturity. In this study, various types and reflections of love in the Prophet's life and hadiths are tried to be determined. The study categorises different types of love under basic headings such as love of God, love of the Prophet, love of people, love of property and love of homeland on the axis of hadith. In addition, how the Prophet (pbuh) treated his loved ones with love was also revealed through hadith narrations; the Prophet (pbuh) showed his love through behaviours such as words, joking and giving gifts. The main sources of this study are the Prophet's Sunnah and life, and the study is completed with the evaluation based on the findings obtained. This study has revealed that love is an important emotion throughout human history and that the Prophet Muhammad reflected various types of love in his life and hadiths. The Prophet's loving treatment of his loved ones continues to be his beautiful example and a valuable source of inspiration for humanity.
