Abstract (EN)
Lyric books are among significant sources for mainly Classical Turkish music also Classical Turkish Literature. In this thesis, Hâfız Mustafâ Dûrbînî-zâde's one of his book which was written in 1216 (1801/02) is analysed. The lyric book is registered in İstanbul Research Institute Library, Şevket Rado Manuscripts, numbered 78, titled as "Şarkı Mecmuası". In this 205 pages lyric book, there are 1052 lyrics written in various forms. In thesis there are three chapters. In the Introduction, which is the first part of the thesis, after given history of Turkish music and information about the majmuas; in Second chapter, Dûrbînî's life is mentioned, introducing the lyric book, its context and structure features are analysed. In Third chapter, explaining the process of translation of the manuscprit, the transcription is given. It is aimed to contribute to Turkish music and literature with this study.
