Examination of religious motivation of Qur'an course students taking hafiz education

This thesis is research on "Examination of Religious Motivation of Qur'an Course Students Taking Hafiz Education". The increasing number of students in hafiz education, which has been carried out for years mostly depending on stereotypical disciplines, also opens the door to studies to be made in this field of education. It is certain that every individual as a human has motivating elements in religious behavior. It has also been the basic question of this research that the sources of religious motivations of the students, who receive an education with more spiritual dynamics such as hafiz education, are revealed in the context of the education they receive. The research was carried out in Aise-i Sıddıka Girls' Qur'an Course, which is affiliated to the Van İpekyolu Muftiate, which is shown as a pilot course in the sense of memory in Van. Since there are no male students at the same level who can be included in the sample, the sample consists of only female students. In the research, data were collected with the qualitative research method and it was aimed to work with the easiest sample possible. Oral interviews were conducted with 10 students aged 18-22, and the audio recordings were transcribed. Thus, it was expected that the students who received hafiz training would be examined and evaluated in terms of their memory and their religious motivation. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, which is the theoretical part, related concepts and literature studies are explained. When the literature was scanned, interview questions were created with the topics that researchers mostly focused on, and interviews were recorded based on these questions.
