A rewiew on Haldun Taner's work called "Çalışkur in Moonlight"

Haldun Taner, who was born in 1915, is known as one of the distinguished writers of Turkish literature and has made a great impact with his works. Taner had the opportunity to get to know Western culture and literature closely by learning French at Galatasaray High School. He won many awards throughout his artistic life and his works were met with great interest. The story of the author, who masterfully uses humor and irony in his works, titled Çalışkur in the Moonlight, is the main element of this study. In this study, which focuses on Haldun Taner and the story in question, the author's life, art and works are first focused on. Subsequently, postmodernism was touched upon and its general characteristics were emphasized and the last chapter was moved on. The materials and technical elements in the work titled Ayşığında Çalışkur have been examined and exemplified separately in the two texts in the work.
