Application of aggregated stock management model for raw materials

In today's business environment where competition is developing rapidly, supply chain management and stock management are of great importance for businesses to reduce costs, increase efficiency and increase customer service levels. Supply chain management is a strategic approach that aims to optimize the process from material supply to the end consumer. Effective management of this process requires complex decisions involving stock levels and demand forecasts. In this context, effective management of raw material stocks is a critical factor to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of production processes and increase operational efficiency. This study examines the implementation of an aggregated stock management model that enables effective management of raw materials, approaching it from a perspective where the fields of supply chain management and stock management are integrated. ABC analysis, XYZ analysis and statistical safety inventory calculations were performed on the application example of an international company and it was explained in detail how the integrated stock management model was applied, how the supply chain performance was measured and how the stock levels of raw materials were optimized. This thesis aims to be a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners who want to understand how businesses can act more effectively in the stock management of raw materials. At the same time, it can form the basis of future work by providing a broad understanding of how the aggregated stock management model can improve the processes of enterprises.
