Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out on an area of approximately 35,000 hectares in the Harran Plain. The boundaries of revealing the water in the study area by filtering in the observation wells and determining and mapping the local distribution of nitrate extensions in the plain, the basic requirements and geostatistical determination and the determination of the nitrate sensitive areas in the area and the proposal to reduce the appropriate management accordingly. With the initiation of surface irrigation in the plain, significant malfunctions occurred due to excessive and uncontrolled irrigation for intensive purposes, insufficient impact propellers and at the same time uncontrolled removal of household and other wastes in the plain basin. Pollution of the water at the beginning of these operations is observed. One of the potential potentials commonly found in groundwater is nitrate. Although nitrate takes reasonable precautions in many natural water environments, it can reach a point where it can lead to high values (> 50 mg/L) in the water consumed due to both the discharge of waste water and the use of fertilizers. Nitrate ions carry significant health risks in children and pregnant women. In order to reveal these dimensions, 40 point ground water wells representing the plain were sampled and it was aimed to contain nitrite in these wells. In addition, groundwater levels and EC values were also measured in situ. It detects geostatistical maps to identify sensitive points to nitrate containment in the area. Nitrate was found above the acceptable limit values (50mg/L) of animals in only 4 of 40 groundwater observation wells in the study area. These points are the views taken from the villages of Yayvandoruk, İmambakır, Yardimli and Bulgurlu. When the locations of these wells were evaluated, the south of the plain and the directing formations of the settlements caused high management of nitrate foci. It has been observed that the results of the study have positive explanations in their own explanations. The high nitrate values in places where the groundwater siege is close prevent the nitrate from easily mixing (reaching) into the groundwater. The RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) values of the results of the estimations obtained by Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) and Ordinary Kriging methods from geostatistical analyzes were compared. According to the results obtained, the lowest RMSE value for the nitrate parameter is from the spherical model used in the ordinary kriging method (RMSE: 26.35); The lowest RMSE value for the pH parameter is from the spherical model used in the ordinary kriging method (RMSE: 0.2059); The lowest RMSE value for the EC (µS/cm) parameter is from the spherical model used in the ordinary kriging method (RMSE: 992.67); The lowest RMSE value for the groundwater level (cm) parameter was obtained from the spherical model (RMSE: 51.37) used in the ordinary kriging method.
