Abstract (EN)
This study, deals with the Early Bronze Age III- Middle Bronze Age I Terracottas Human Figurines recovered in Urfa Museum and at Harran Höyük, which lies approximately 44 km South of Şanlıurfa. Harran and Urfa Museum Figurines, which are distinctive for the Early Bronze Age III- MiddleBronze Age I Culture, could be found in lots of archaeological sites located in Northern Syria its vicinity. Figurines of this type are classified as type?Euphrates Group? by Badre. Nine Euphrates Group figurines in Urfa Museum and eight Euphrates Group figurines recovered at Harran Höyük are the largest group revealed in Anatolia. Archaeological analysis of these could be fruitful for the on going discussions about them among the scholars. Key Words: Bronze Age, Figurines, Euphrates, Terracotta
