Abstract (EN)

Hospitals are multi-floor facilities which consist of several departments. Large number of patients have bad effects on hospital flow and corridor traffic. In addition a bad layout plan and the complexity of the patient treating procedures badly affect the traffic flow and density in the hospital. As a consequence patient waiting times and transportation distance between departments gets larger, corridor density and crowd create unwanted situations. In this study, considered how flow and layout problems could be analyzed on a hospital example. Datas obtained used on LayOPT layout optimization program to have more efficient layout results. Datas obtained from the example interpreted. Keywords: Computer aided layout techniques, facility planning, health facilities
