Abstract (EN)

This study was performed in Medical Intensive Care of Balcalı Hospital between December 2012- May 2013 in order to determine airborne bacterial and microfungal concentration of this it. The result of air samplings revealed that 894 bacterial and 874 micrufungal colonies in total were isolated from the Medical Intensive Care. For isolation of bacteria and fungi samples collected air with ECO-MASS 100 Aerosampler eguipment. Total 894 bacterial colonies were isolated and as a result total 10 different genus of bacteria were identified. These are the following identified bacteria colonies; 470 (%52.57) Staphylococcus, 209 (%23.37) Micrococcus, 88 (%9.84) Acinetobacter, 26 (%2.90) Bacillus, 23 koloni (%2.57) Streptococcus, 12 (%1.34) Sphingomonas, 9 (%1.00) Pseudomonas, 7 (%0.78) Pantoea, 6 (%0.67) Kocuria ve 2 (%0.22) Aeromonas. Total 874 fungal colonies were isolated and as a result total 5 different genus of fungi were identified. These are the following identified fungus colonies; 477 (%54.57) Penicillium, 201 (%22.99) Cladosporium, 90 (%10.29) Alternaria, 83 (%9.49 Aspergillus and 13 (%1.48) Mycelia sterilia. Aspergillus spp. were identified as a result total 8 different species. These are 36 (%43.37) A. niger, 12 (%14.45) A. versicolor, 10 (%12.04) A. wentii, 9 (%10.84) A. alliaceus, 9 (%10.84) A. caespitosus, 3 (%3.61) A. ustus, 2 (%2.40) A. carbonarius ve 2 (%2.40) A. oryzae.
