Abstract (EN)

In this study, some biochemical parameters of 61 hospitalized COVID-19 coronavirus patients and 42 healthy individuals were compared. Hospitalized coronavirus patients have recorded ups and downs in some tests when compared to the control group. In comparisons between the sexes, it is seen that men are more affected by the virus. Compared with the control group, CRP, GLUCOSE, UREA, CREATININ, Mg, ALP, ALT, AST, GGT, LDH, CK levels were increased in patients, while Ca, TP, ALB, GLB tests were decreased. However, no changes were observed in Na, K, Cl, BİLLİRUBIN levels. When the genders of hospitalized COVID-19 patients were compared, CRP, GLUCOSIS, UREA, CREATININ, ALT, AST, GGT, CK, LDH values were found to be high in men. In addition, while Ca, TP, GLB, ALB, P, URIC ACID levels decreased in men, there was no significant difference in Na, K, Cl, BILIRUBIN ALP levels in men and women. While CK values rose sharply in men, they decreased in women. In the control group patients, the same results were not obtained when the gender assessment was performed
