Abstract (EN)

Calligraphy is defined as an original art form where the art of writing and decoration meets with elegance, and scribbles stand out as one of the important steps in the process of creating a work. Our study titled " Mashqs And Scribbling In Callıgraphy" represents an academic research in which scrribblings, an important element of calligraphy, are examined in depth. Because these studies are the preparatory stages used to develop the artist's writing style, try new compositions or discover aesthetic expressions. This research examines in detail the value of scribblings in calligraphy and how these works reflect the artist's mental and emotional processes. In addition to shedding light on the artist's process of creating a work, the examination of scribbles also contributes to our understanding of the technical and aesthetic development of calligraphy. Our research aims to carefully select the works of calligraphers who lived in different periods, evaluate their works in museums and private collections that have survived to the present day in terms of typefaces, work features, signature texts, materials used and ornaments, and reveal the roles of these works in the development of calligraphy. While examining the application principles of scribblings, subjects such as text content, compositional features, aesthetic criteria, proofreading, ceremonial, illumination and ketebe registration were meticulously addressed. In the visual research process related to our thesis topic, examples from the works of calligraphers from different periods were presented as a result of interviews with museums, private collections and auction houses. These examples reveal the development of calligraphy over time and its various artistic approaches. In addition, they contribute significantly to our understanding of the aesthetic understanding of calligraphers in different periods. The results of the research reveal the importance of scribblings in calligraphy and the roles of calligraphers in the production process of their works. In addition, it goes into the depths of calligraphy and explains the artistic value and originality of scribblings within an academic framework.
