Hatay bölgesinde çevresel radyoaktivitenin belirlenmesi

In order to evaluate the natural environmental radioactivity measurements around Hatay; water and soil samples were picked around this region and carried to laboratuary. Near by, exposure gamma doses in air, were also measured and noted. In that case; the gross Alpha and Beta activity concentrations of the collected 39 different water samples were counted by ten channels low level counter and recorded. In the second step; totally 55 different samples were collected from all around of Hatay to determine the activity concentration in soil samples. These samples were analysized by gamma spectrometry system in CNAEM. Finally; the exposured gamma dose rates in airwere measured from 215 different points and the results were given in the respective tables. At last to check any risk comes from water, soil and air; the annual effective doses were obtained for human lives in HATAY region.
