Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to conduct a research study on the Hatay Mountain Gazella (Gazella gazella Pallas, 1766), which is one of the most important and threatened species in Turkey. The Hatay Mountain Gazelle is a rare species found exclusively in Israel and Turkey. Within Turkey, it inhabits only the Hassa, Kırıkhan, and Kumlu districts of Hatay Province. The purpose of our study is to determine the living conditions, nutrition, food behaviors, interactions with humans, social behaviors, threats to the species, habitat, breeding, and protection of the Hatay Mountain Gazelle in the relevant region.
