Abstract (EN)

This study includes comparative translation of the manuscripts and reviews of Vesîletü'l-Makâsıd ilâ Ahseni'l-Merâsıd fî Lügati'l-Fürs of Hatîb Rüstem which is in Ankara National Library Yz. A 638 and Ankara, TDK Library Yz. A 449. Vesîletü'l-Makâsıd, written in 1498, is a comprehensive Persian-Turkish dictionary which contains 9972 lexical entry of Persian words, written down their Turkish meaning under the lines. The Turkish words in the work show the Old Anatolian Turkish feature. Besides, there are 252 couplets of Persian grammar described in Turkish. With this feature, the work can be regarded as one of the first poetic grammar books in Anatolia. The study consists of three main parts. In the first part, the information of lexicography and grammar studies of Arabs, Persians and Turks was stated. In the second part, the style and content feature of the work was analysed. In the third chapter; the work was transcribed by checking all the Persian and Turkish words from the dictionaries named as reference dictionaries and by providing footnotes to necessary places.
