Life, art and works of calligrapher the Grocer Arif Efendi

Our thesis, Born in 1830 in Plovdiv and forced to emigrate to Istanbul in the wake of the Ottoman-Russian war of 1877-1878, the life, art, works and tale of the grocer Arif Efendi are all about. Despite being an enthusiast in calligraphy while in Plovdiv, Şevki Efendi, a great master and devotee of calligraphy in calligraphy, became a student and received his second vocational license after he immigrated to Istanbul. The work of the grocer Ârif Efendi, who was among the calligraphers of the calligraphy which is quite advanced in calligraphy and which was a student to Şevki Efendi, was tried to be given and evaluated according to his usage places.
