Abstract (EN)

Today, as the technology and population growth that are renewed day by day increase energy consumption and consume fossil fuel resources such as oil, natural gas and coal, alternative energy sources are needed instead of these fuels. Renewable energy is the best alternative energy source because it is environmentally friendly. Renewable energy has gained importance in recent years due to its use in areas such as heating, transportation, electricity generation, being domestic, low fuel cost, clean and environmental friendly. Solar energy, hydroelectric energy, wind energy, biomass energy, geothermal energy and tidal energy are renewable energy sources. Biomass can take its source from all kinds of animal, vegetable and microbial wastes. In this way, both the damage caused by wastes to the environment is reduced and clean energy is obtained. The most preferred thermochemical conversion process in biomass energy production is pyrolysis of biomass. In this thesis; The pyrolysis kinetics of Almond shell-sheep manure and Siirt pistachio shell-sheep manure mixtures by mixing the raw materials of Siirt pistachio shell and sheep manure in a single and 1/1 ratio are investigated by TGA method. Pyrolysis kinetic studies, the Coats-Redfern method, which is a model-dependent method, and the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose methods, which are model-independent, were used and studied. The effect of 4 different heating rates (5 oC/min, 10 oC/min, 15 oC/min and 20 oC/min) in the TGA method was investigated. Elemental analyzes were performed to determine the elemental composition of the raw materials. The high amount of oxygen in the structure of raw materials indicates the usability of raw materials as fuel. The use of biomass with sheep manure reduces Ea.
