Abstract (EN)
This study examines the motivation of nurses and the effect of work environment on their motivation. In general, nursing resources increases institutionalization based motivation, decreases pay based motivation. Nurse manager ability increases institutionalization based motivation and work based (no high workload, no application flaws) motivation. Staffing adequacy increases institutionalization based motivation, pay based motivation, and work based motivation. Nurse–physician relations increase institutionalization based motivation and recognition (ability to work in groups) based motivation. Moreover, these effects depend on the department of the nurses. In addition, motivation tools employed by the hospitals such as approval, promotion, paid leave, pay increase and occupational development programs depend on the work environment and motivation sources.
