ABSTRACTKarasin M, The Evolution of Hepatic Hemodynamics Changes in Hepatosteatosis by Doppler Ultrasonograpy, Zonguldak Karaelmas University, Faculty of Medicine, Radiology Thesis, Zonguldak, 2012.In recent years, dietary changes and obesity prevalence is increasing with the chage of dietary. Hepatosteatosis is one of many pathological situation accompying obesity. Pathologically, the liver fat ratio is more than 5%, defined as the hepatosteatosis, but ofen diagnosed using ultrasound. Hepasteatosis can be evaluated and grading by ultrasound. Additionally hemodynamic changes can be evaluated by doppler ultrasound. In our study: we research hepatosteatosis related hemodynamic changes by doppler ultrasound. We studied 90 hepatosteatosis patients and 30 healty people who adimtted Zonguldak Karaelmas Hospital Department of Radiology between May 2011-March 2012. Patients' height, their weight, liver size, liver enzymes were measured. There was statistically significant increase in body mass index of patients, liver enzymes, blood lipids proportionally with hepatosteatosis grade.(P<0.05) Results consistent with literature. Portal vein and hepatic artery were examined with Doppler ultrasound. Peak velocity of the portal vein, portal vein and hepatic artery blood flow and hepatic perfusion index values of the measured volume of statistically significant differences were not detected between the groups. (P>0.05) Hepatic artery, hepatic artery resistivity index and pulsatility index values goups look lighter than the other hepatosteatosis group were significantly decreased. (P <0.05) Incompatible with Doppler examination results in literature. With more than many observers concluded that large scale studies should be done. Keywords: Hepatic artery, portal vein, Doppler sonography, hepatosteatoz
