Abstract (EN)

People's increasing need for energy has increased the demand for fossil fuels. As an alternative to fossil fuels, nuclear power plants have been used to generate energy, but both fossil fuels and nuclear energy residues harm the environment and thus human beings. Due to pollution of the environment and damage to human health, various searches have begun to replace fossil fuels and nuclear energy. The proposed and promising solution has been renewable energy sources. Hybrid energy system applications consisting of stand-alone and two or more renewable energy sources can be used. Another element that causes environmental pollution is carbon dioxide released during production in large production facilities such as factories. The carbon dioxide released here has negative effects on the world ecosystem as well as environmental pollution. It should be the duty of all people to protect our increasingly polluted world before it becomes an uninhabitable place. The aim of our thesis is to ensure that our polluted world can breathe a little bit with the use of CO2 capture and storage technologies that have been released with production since the industrialization period and also with the hybrid energy system to be established with the help of solar energy. Afterwards, to leave a cleaner world to the future by increasing the use of these technologies. In the first study, a hybrid power plant was designed with the help of HOMER Pro Program by utilizing solar and diesel energies for Aksu Village consisting of 36 households located in Hasankeyf district of Batman province. The second study aims to prevent environmental pollution by capturing the CO2 gas released as a result of production. Simulation of the capture of CO2 released from an industrial production facility close to Batman and Siirt regions using appropriate solutions was carried out with the help of Aspen Plus program.
