Abstract (EN)

In this study, Ni, Co, Fe, Cu, NiCo, NiCoZn, NiFe, NiFeZn, NiCu, NiCuZn coatings were electrochemical deposited on copper. The prepared electrodes were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, SEM, AAS ve EDX techniques. The catalytic effect of prepared electrodes for the hydrogen evolution reaction was studied in 1 M KOH solution at 298 K. The effect of chemical composition of coatings, deposition current density and coating thickness was studied and optimun conditions were determined to obtain catalytic electrodes for the hydrogen gas evolution. Long-term stability and corrosion behaviour of more active electrodes with electrolysis was studied. Methanol electrooxidation on NiCuZn electrode was also studied.
