Abstract (EN)
This study, prepared as a master's thesis, consists of the transcribed text, language analysis and index of the work named Hikâyet-i Dîniyye. The work is registered to in the National Library Manuscripts Collection 06 Mil Yz B 76 inventory number in the National Library of Ankara. The work consist of 87 leaf and 100 religious stories; but the first two stories are not included in the work, because the work is missing from the beginnig. The study consists of six sections: introduciton, analysis, text, index, notes on Arabic phrases and conclusion. The subject, purpose, method and resources of the study are inculuded in introduction section. In the analysis section, spelling features, phonetics and morphology of the work are examined. The text section consists of the translation of the work into transcribed Latin letters. The index is a directory and meanig of words, special names. The work has a simple understandable expression. In the work, there are sections from the lives of many prophets and saints. It also included in various verses, hadith and prayer. The author and date of writing of the work are unknown. Therefore, one of the main goals of the study is to determine the period which it was written from language charecteristics. As a result of the anaylses and grammatical comparisons; it has been proven that the work belongs to the period of Old Anatolian Turkish, which is the first period of Western Turkish.
