Abstract (EN)
Hyperemesis gravidarum (HEG), is described es a severe type of emesis which couses loss of weight, dehidration, alcolisis and hypocalamia due to hydrocloric acid lose.İn this study we examined the ghrelin, obestati, nesfatin-1 and leptin levels in both healty pregnants and pregnant with hyperemesis gravidarum. Our purpose was to find new factors in the etiology of HEG.20 healty and 20 pregnancy with HEG were taken in the study. Venous blood samples were taken when the pregnants were hungry. Horman were analysed by the method of ELİSA.Leptin levels (p= 0.013) were low in statically significant amount in the pregnants with HEG when compared with healty pregnants. No staticaly significant differance was present between the açil ghrelin, desaçilghrelin, obestatin and nesfatin-1 levels of healty pregnants and pregnants with hyperemesis gravidarum. HEG and lipid parameters in healthy pregnant groups were compared in terms of triglyceride, HDL cholesterol and VLDL cholesterol levels were statistically lower than the HEG group. As a result, due to long term hunger and inappropriate feding, body fat moss may be decreased in pregnancies with HEG and leptin levels may have been in direct proportion. Howewer, statistically significant positive correlation between serum leptin levels and BMI is found. Result also consistent with the result of low leptin levels in pregnancies with HEG. Triglyceride, HDL cholesterol levels and VLDL cholesterol levels were low statistically significat amounts in the HEG group (p = 0.001, p = 0.007, p = 0.0009). The lypolysis in induced in HEG group due to severe emesis and low food intake. Since the triglycerides and cholesterol rich in triglycerides (VLDL cholesterol) are first destruction in lypolysis, these results can be thought true according to this hypothesis.
