Abstract (EN)

The research investigated the impact of servant leadership on employee voice and work engagement, and specifically explored the mediating role of employee voice in the relationship between servant leadership and work engagement. It is assumed that leadership styles in organizations play a crucial role in increasing employees' commitment to their work, and that servant leadership has a positive impact in this context. The research findings indicate that while servant leadership increases work engagement, employee voice further strengthens this effect. As part of this study, data were collected through a survey from 485 employees working in a municipal institution in Adana province. In analyzing the data, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, correlations between variables, and structural equation modeling were used to conduct goodness-of-fit tests for the model and regression analyses. The research found that servant leadership significantly and positively affects both work engagement and employee voice, and that employee voice plays a mediating role in the effect of servant leadership on work engagement.
