Abstract (EN)
In this study, different SiO2 added bioceramics were coated on Ti6AI4V metal substrate. Widely used implant material Ti6AI4V was coated with SiO2 added hydroxyapatite and coating was characterized. Mineralogical anaylsis of coating material, coating thickness, contact angle and weight gain after holding SBF datas were measured and corrosion analysis were carried out. As a result of the analysis, it's observed that diatomite-added, SiO2-added and bioactive glass-added hydroxyapatite powders gave more superior results to coatings made with pure hydroxyapatite powder.
