Hz. Muhammed (S.a.v) and Communication

Hz. Muhammed had high virtues in terms of communication besides his prophetic duty. The prophet conveyed messages to people taking the human and social characteristics into account. Communication was at any moments of his life. Out prophet used effective communication very well. He communicated very well by analyzing people's ages, their intelligences and their feelings. While he was laying the foundation of the Islamic religion and gaining the humans the chance to live humanely, a communication expert acted with the knowledge and sensitivity. The Prophet's approach to communication brought people closer to him and increased interest in what he said. He also became a role model for people with his behaviors as a member of the society in which he lived. The Prophet cared about not just the people who believe, but also the people of all religions and communicated with them with care. As a prophet Muhammed's approaches while talking about the religion and communicating with people are the main themes of this study. As the methods of communication that the Prophet practiced in the fulfillment of his prophetic duty had a great impact on the people of that day and caused a change of attitude and behavior, his approaches contained messages for contemporary societies as well. This study aims to examine the verbal, non-verbal and written communication methods of the Prophet by taking advantage of modern communication science data too.
