There is no doubt that history is one of the most developed sciences of the Islamic world. In this study we tried to investigate and focus on the work of Ibnu'l-esir"el-Kâmil fî't-Târîh" which is also known as" Tarih'ül Kâmil". Since the region where the author lived has a centennial history, this work can be regarded as a primary source that gives valuable information about the histories of Turks, Seljuks and Mongols. This study consists of five parts. These parts were analyzed in terms of subject integrity and the periodsexplained in them were evaluated in termsof their political, social and cultural aspects. The study tried to enlighten the Seljuk period in the first part, Atabeylik institutions of the Seljuks in the second part, the Kharzem Shah State in the third part, Ayyubids in the fouth part and the Mongols in the last part. The study is fundamentally a comparative analysis in which information provided by the author was compared with other works focusing on the same issue. The study has concluded that Ibnu'l Esir shed light on these periods and evaluated them objectively.
