Abstract (EN)

Many changes took place as a Result of the french revolution.Multinational anda multi-religious Empired have Been more affected by these changes than comtrmporary states. One of the multinational anda multi-religious Empires is the Ottoman Empire. Since the 18th century, the Ottoman Empire's defeats in wars and economic decline brought about westernization efforts. The fact that minorities within the Ottoman Empire became a problem in the process revealed political ideas such as Ottomanism, Islamism and Turkism. Many of these ideas were being applied politically, but Westernization and modernization continued. While the rulers of the Ottoman Empire were dealing with the Ottoman and Islamist ideas, the Ottoman Empire also lost the lands where the Turks were rare. The remaining Anatolian lands are the part where the majority of Muslim Turks reside. In this case, only Turkism, which formed the basis of the idea of establishing a national state, remained. Since the understanding of "Nation and Nationalism" is found in the soul and person of the Turkish nation, it was immediately adapted to a new "nation-stateization" system and studies were started. The manifestation of the Turkish consciousness as the idea of Turkism was shaped over a period of 50 years. Victory was achieved by the idea men, especially shaping "Turkishism" around culture, and Mustafa Kemal Pasha's application of these ideas.
