Companies that want to open up to foreign markets or increase their market share in foreign markets; lack of information related to the target market, financial insufficiency, competitive conditions in the market, and sometimes they are not sufficient to solve these problems themselves. For this reason, the public authority has created various incentive and support tools to encourage firms to export and to increase their exports. In this context, the study examines the relationship between government incentives and support for exports, and the level of export performance and internationalization of firms. In addition, the main motivation source for export, the main challenges in exporting, and the variables of firms' personal ties, networks and connections are also included in the research model. A questionnaire was applied as a method of data collection in the study and research hypotheses were tested with "correlation" and "regression" analyzes. Analyzes made reveal significant relationships between export support and export performance and export difficulties.
