The notions about the origin of language on Ikhwân al-Safâ and language theory

Language is an essential fact for the human being. It came to existence with the birth of the human. People have to use language for communication wherever they are born. Language has always been a research object also basing on the first human. Researchers from every field have done many researches about language until today. On this study, we have tried to mention shortly the investigations of Arabic linguists and, especially, the community called as Ihvan-ı Safa, which appeared In Basra on 10th century, and also their theories about the language. While we have been searching the opinions of Ihvan-ı Safa about language, we tried to reach the studies which have been prepared until today and Arabic sources. Certainly, this study has analyzed, by reaching much more Information, the theories of Ihvan-ı Safa about language and the similarities and differences of Arabic linguists' opinions. Afterthls study, various researches will be done. We have aimed to contribute to this science expedition with this study.
