Bitlis prison during the Second Constitutional Monarchy period

On of the main concerns today is the prison. Detailed examination and interpretation of the prison is important for history. The aim of this study was to evaluate the Bitlis Prisons II. Constitutional Monarchy Period. During this period, the situation of the prisons in Bitlis and the accidents related to Bitlis was examined. Improvement studies in prisons II. It also occurred in Bitlis Prisons during the Constitutional Monarchy Period. In this period, the physical condition of the prisons and the correction of the prisoners and prison workers were tried. Even though these reforms have not been fully implemented in Bitlis, there has been a slight decrease in crime rates in the region and penal methods have been changed. The issues of desertion, amnesty issues and prisoners health in the prisons were investigated and informed. In Bitlis and accident areas, the lower floor of government mansions was used as a prison.
