Abstract (EN)

In recent years, platelet concentration products are frequently used because they contain high levels of growth factors in order to accelerate tissue healing. This study aims to compare the effect two preperation and implantation techniques using resonance frequency analysis in the early stability of dental implants. 17 patients without any systemic disease and contraindication before dental implant surgery were included in the study. Each patient received two dental implants. After preparing the implant sockets with piezoelectric surgery, one of the randomly selected sockets is covered with PRF before the insertion of the implant (group PRF+) and the other socket was left empty as a control (group PRF-). The resonance frequency analysis measurements with Osstell™ ISQ device were done after implatation, 1., 4., 8. and 12. weeks postoperatively. According to RFA results, only 12. week, PRF+ group showed statistically significantly higher ISQ values than PRF- group (p <0.05). PRF's implementation during implant surgery led to an increased stability at early stage. However, these findings need to be verified with new studies involving more patients. Key words: Platelet rich fibrin, Osseointegration, Resonance frequency analysis Piezosurgery, Growth factors.
