This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is introduction. The second chapter deals with fundamental concepts and relations between the first and second boundary-value problems. The third chapter is Picard iteration. The fourth chapter contain the distance between zeros and uniqueness intervals, existence theorems. The fifth chapter deals with a second order nonlinear boundary-value problem, which is the special structure
