Abstract (EN)
The increase in the number of vehicles in traffic not only brings transportation problems with each passing day, but also causes an increase in the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere. Although there are many reasons for the deterioration in ecological balance, these reasons include vehicle use due to carbon dioxide emissions. According to the reports published by the European Union, it is stated that carbon dioxide emissions resulting from transportation constitute 30% of the total carbon dioxide emissions, and 72% of this rate originates from road transportation. Within the scope of the European Green Deal, which our country has signed along with 33 countries, there is a mission to switch to zero-emission vehicles by 2040, and expanding the use of vehicles with "0" carbon footprint such as bicycles and scooters will make a difference in this direction. Especially since electric scooters are easier to use and require less effort compared to bicycles, they are becoming more widespread in our country and in the world day by day. An electric scooter is a type of transportation vehicle that moves on its wheels, can be adjusted in direction and speed thanks to its steering wheel, and works by charging with electricity. Use of electric scooters; It is increasing day by day because it is environmentally friendly, economical and practical. Scooters, which are used as hobbies in daily life, allow electric scooters to be used in many new areas such as transportation of cargo, as their efficiency increases. In this context, the "Fat Scooter", which is the subject of the thesis, is capable of carrying a load of up to 15 kilograms with the basket on the front and up to 45 kilograms with the basket at the back. It will also be suitable for use in service transportation, as it can carry a total load of 55 kilograms. At the same time, a utility model application has been made for the product subject to the thesis and it has been registered as a utility model by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office to be protected for 10 years starting from 17/12/2021 within the scope of the Industrial Property Law No. 6769
