Japan, which is located in Far East, was known as an imperialist power during the World War II in Turkey. Especially, when we have a short glance to the condition of Turkey during the War and Europe before the war, we could find out the hard policies that Turkey faced. Entrance of Japan to War and the perception of Turk press about Japan, caused a comparison between the Japanese and American power and Japan's loss was predicted. The Asianism policy of Japan was evaluated as an extraordinary condition that could not gather supporter. Entrance of Japan to War through attack to Pearl Harbor, was a start point for Japan to use the opportunity of War in Europe to enlarge its lands and to turn to an imperialist power in the region in a short time. By the termination of the War, we witness that all relations of Japan were cut and by declaring war against Japan, Japan's right of speak was confirmed in United Nations' Assembly. The atomic bomb that was evaluated as "The bomb of Hereafter" in turkey caused some interpretations. Turk authors evaluated the case as very hard resignation of War by Japan in their frame of thinking. During the Second World War, Turkish press published the biography of Japanese characters and their lifestyle during War and life of Hirohito the Empire. At the same time, Japanese people's dependence on their tradition and beliefs, some socio-cultural information used to be given in the press. In Turkish humor and metaphorical discourse, the cartoons were used to give a visual perception of Japan. Most of the cartoons represented Japan as an occupant and the conclusion of such countries were shown in a very clear form.
