Dr. Mustafa APAYDIN 2004.VIII+96 pages In this study, poetics of the İkinci Yeni which takes place in the modern Turkish poems is studied carefully. İkinci Yeni, published a common theme both at the beginning and witnin its development. From this point of view studying the distinct poetic text of the advance poets of the İkinci Yeni within the frame of their being common and contrast between themselves has great importance for our history of literature. And this forms the aim of our study. This study is formed from two parts in which the İkinci Yeni poets' general evaluation of the poems, inner problems of them and their ideas about content and structures are exmined. In this study even if there is sometimes closeness and commonness between the poets of the İkinci Yeni as a whole a common poetica couldn't put forth. Even by nurturing from the Garip's new poem ideas which includes the opposite views and standing against it by carrying the trace of this nurtiring, the coming conclusion is that they sometimes have the common poetica.
