The second new poetry and existentialism

Perhaps the movement of the second new poetry has been the most controversi period of Turkısh poetry. Our study is mainly based on the intersection of the Second New poetry that created a deep change on Turkish poetry movement, which is the most important of the philosophical sources of the Turkish poetry movement, with the movement of existentialism. Our thesis is composed of two main topics. In the first part it is focused on the formation conditions and features of the existentialism and the new second poetr .In the second part,the existentialist themes that cross the Second New poetry and the influences are shown by going through the poems. In the conclusion part, inference is made from the identified facts. Key Words: The Second New, Existantialism
