Abstract (EN)

Today, most of the energy produced directly or indirectly for human benefit is provided from non-renewable energy sources. However, the energy produced from non-renewable energy sources for years has increased the density of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and as a result of these increases, negative changes in the climate have taken place and continue to occur. These negative changes in the climate affect the lives of all living things, especially humans. Therefore, national and international studies are carried out on the causes and consequences of climate change, which has been on the world agenda for many years, and the measures to be taken against the slowdown of climate change. It is emphasized that countries use renewable energy sources instead of non-renewable energy sources. It has been determined by researches that the most important reason for the increase in greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere and therefore the changes in the climate is the human effect. The construction industry is also one of the sectors that cause the most greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, in order to reduce the effects of climate change, which is a global problem, implementation of practices such as effective use of energy, water and other natural resources, minimizing the use of non-renewable energy resources, adopting a climate-balanced design approach that provides maximum energy savings in the construction industry and making it mandatory. required. In this study, environmental design parameters compatible with climate were investigated in line with the principles of climatic comfort and energy conservation, using natural resources, and a climate-balanced environmental design model was applied for 278 blocks-94 parcels in Bakırköy region to be a reference for future studies.
