Abstract (EN)

Humankind is an ontological being, which has various stages from birth to death and then passes to the eternal realm after the end of life. The youth is likely the most important and productive stage among those periods. However, the expeditious developments of technology, the increase in welfare for nations, the changes of cultural and moral structures, and the fact that the young generation has been affected mostly by these developments, cause some problems. According to this point, this study evaluated the features of the desired youth in the light of the teachings of the Islamic tradition, from the first prophet to the last one; the common definition of the youth, which would leads a blessing from God, in the Abrahamic religions; lastly the exemplification of the prophet Hz.Yusuf (as) as a role model to solve and heal the problems of the youth, according to the primary sources and exegesis. Therefore, the reflections of the divine messages were discussed and evaluated within the context. Any field of science would not be reached the truth, in the related studies, without comprehending the terminology of the subject. With this masters' thesis, it was aimed to make a study to understand the necessary features of the youth; and, with this context, the story of Hz.Yusuf (as), which is a possible role model to today's' young generation was centred as a case study. In this thesis, it was intended to understand the ideal youth according to God; and present a role model for the youth. The goal of this thesis is to examine the features of the ideal youth and the prophet Hz.Yusuf (as), with all angles of his story, as an admirable model for the youth.
