Advanced production planning and schedule benefit analysis

This thesis aims to examine and evaluate Advanced Production Planning and Scheduling (APS) methods. Advanced Production Planning and Scheduling is a critical application that assists businesses in optimizing their production processes by effectively planning resources. The study involves the use of literature review and field research methods to investigate existing methods and applications in the field of APS. Within the scope of field research, the production processes and current planning and scheduling practices of a sample company are analyzed. Considering the company's production objectives, resource constraints, demand variations, and other factors, suitable planning and scheduling methods are determined, and a benefit analysis is conducted. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance for relevant research in the field of APS and offer practical insights to businesses on optimizing their production processes.
