Abstract (EN)

Nowadays on which the education is rapidly growing, we have to educate people whoare having gritical, logical thought and problem-solving faculties together with sociallydeveloped features. This will be available with high quality education that using teachingmethods and technologies. The studies showed that the abilitiesof making generalizations andsolving problem of students are improving learning-by-doing and learning-by-living. Especially inscience lessons for those it is accepted to be learned is difficult, it is possible that the successof student can be upgraded, use of differnt teaching methods by the teachers. Thus it becomesmore important that education of the teacher candidates as persons, knowing new teachingmethods and applying them.ln this study, effects of ?Project and cooperative learning? on secondary school studentsin environment education accordance with their attitudes are analysed.While doing this study totally 39 , 7th students are consisted in research process.Whileconstructing these groups, students? previous science succes was considered and it isemphasized on the homogenity.After the practice to all classes tree tests are applied. One of them is a last test andwith short answers test about the unit which is appied. The other one is grups questionnaier inorder to see the changes in environment attitudes. Through the analysis of obtained data, thepercent of true and false answers were calculated. The results of tests are evaluated in SPSS11.0 programme. As statistics technique ; t-test was used.Finally; Project and cooperative leaning methots were found not effective onenviroment education.
