Evaluating the teachers opinions abouth gaining the basic ideology of Kemalism in the cirrucalum of social programmes for 7 th classes

The main purpose of this research is evaluating the achievements of Kemalism which takes place in Primary school 7th classes? Social Studies programme according to the point of views of Social Studies teachers who work in primary schools. In other words; the purpose is to find out what kind of a relationship takes place between the achievements of Kemalism and other variables (lesson books, teacher?s characteristics, teaching methods and techniques used in this course, the materials used in this lesson).In this research,a survey which aims to find out the teachers? opinions related to the achievements of Kemalism has been improved by the researcher.Research is based on the survey datas which applied to 95 teachers, who lectures the Social Science courses for the primary school of 7th classes,and who works at the primary schools bounded to the National Education Ministry of Turkey which take place in Sivas Central district. For the statistical analysis of the data obtained, the package programme SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Sciencens) is used. This study is limited by 2008-2009 educational year.As a result of the research, according to the datas of the survey,the relationship between the achievements of Kemalism and the other variables are customized as tables, analysed, the results and the recommendations are presented.
