Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to compare the pre-race anxiety levels of male and female racers who are studying in elementary schools and playing team sports. A total of 300 students, consisting of 160 male and 160 female students who are studying elementary school students in Ankara and playing team sports and taking part in competitions among schools are selected for the study using random selection and with their own will of participation. CSA1-2C (Competitive State Anxiety Inventory for Children) and SCAT-C (The Sport Competition Anxiety Test for Children) was used for the measurement of the pre-race anxiety levels of the students participating in the study. As the result of the study; no meaningful difference discovered between the levels of cognitive anxiety, somatic anxiety and self-confidence of the male and female students discovered.
