Abstract (EN)

Any difference between the individuals isn?t clear as their being man or woman. But sex doesn?t express only biological features and doesn?t gain meaning at the foundation. Sex reflects individuals? biological features and with the development progress it changes through the getting gender identity due to the social and cultural construction of the society that individual gets socialization. This change that is lived called gender and gender is the total of the roles of the treatment and the manner that are built on the sex. Individuals enter a progress of socialization when they begin to perceive their environment. In this progress individuals learn social worths, norms, patterns of the role and treatments from the important socialization devices such as media and education and they for their characters and identities. It is thought that education has influence on the formation of individuals gender identities. To see if there is such an influence or not the formation of gender roles that are in the primary education books are treated in this study.Key Words: Sex perception, sex distinction, sex and gender.
