ABSTARCTTHE EFFECT OF HOMEWORK STUD ES TO THE SUCCESS OF THESTUDENTS WHO ATTEND SC ENCE LESSON N THE SECOND DEGREE OFPR MARY EDUCAT ONBurcu GÜNDOĞAN ÖZBENDay by day the progress of science is naturel since it is total experiences andresulty of studies to make human?s life ease and secure. Technology will olsoprogress and change depending on the progress in science. Science education takesgeat port in progress of science. There are couple of variables affecting succes ofscience education in direct or indirect way. Homework is one of the indirect waysaffecting success of science education. Homework have training values in addition toeducation values.This study deals with effects homework on students success in scienceeducation. Besides that,this study was done to make stres on importance of topic andto process in the correct way of preporing, giving and evaluation homeworks.In the first part; the role of homework in education the functions ofhomework the points must be taken into consideration when giving homework,evaluation of homework in Turkish National Education System are presented.The study was executed on the students studying at 7th class, Kayı lköğretimOkulu, Kazan / ANKARA. Results were entered into SPSS program by %, f and t-test. In the end, conseqences and reccommandations are presented.
