The research of prmary?high school teachers and students? opinons about sustainable development and biological diversity

The purpose of this research is to provide the importance of biodiversity and sustainable development in gradually diminishing of this wealth by teachers and students. The research process, it was reviewed of the literature of theoretical framework for sustainable development and biological diversity, and the relationship between biological diversity and sustainable development and Within the framework of sustainable development for obtaining of teachers and students' perceptions about how to preserve biodiversity.. Sample of the research group of 4 high schools and, three elementary schools in the district of Trabzon province Surmene, and one high school in the district Araklı was established. interview was made to 12 teachers and surveys that were done was applied on 570 students. Students in 570 randomly selected students to have responded to open-ended questions were analyzed. Interview and survey data collection tool was developed as a pilot study conducted before and after questionnaires were applied. In addition to taking surveys of students' views, open-ended questions are at the last part. Finally, the elementary-secondary education program to examine importance of the issue, curriculum we are talking about has been analyzed by using document analysis method. Data collected from interviews is analyzed with method of analysis of Constant comparative, the data collected to respond to students' open-ended questions were analyzed by thematic analysis., questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS-16.0 Program.As a result of the survey and interviews with participating teachers'views of the relationship between sustainable development and biological diversity are evaluated by the effect on this relationship has been found that human factors. Ecosystem and genetic diversity, species diversity and conservation of biological diversity and genetic diversity of all individuals irrespective of gender insensitive acts on issues such as finding the investigator reaches a conclusion to another. As a result of adverse biological effects of human activities gradually decrease diversity effect due to the sustainable development of human factor in this case must be controlled.
