Primary school teacher's use of credit cards and personal loans

Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to analyze the way primary school teachers use credit cards and personal loans. The study consist of four sections:In the first sections, problem statement, its value, assumptions and limitations were explained. In the second section, analyzing the literature about credit cards and personal loans, theoretical information was given. In the third section, the method, model, population and sample, data collection methods were explained. In the last section, findings and comments were clarified. Upon the aims of the study, a measurement tool was developed by the researcher. The tool was applied with 418 teachers in twenty different schools in central district of Ankara. The collected data was analyzed via SPSS 15.0. The findings and comments based on the analyzed data, results and suggestions were clarified. The leading results among them are that most of the primary school teachers use their credit cards and personal loans while purchasing goods and services, the most of the teachers use credit cards in shopping daily because of its convenience. It is also found out that primary school teachers prefer long term personal loans while purchasing car or house. Keywords: Loan, Credit Card, Personal Loan
