Abstract (EN)
As a social being, a human may have conflicts in every part of his life. As for the organizations, it is a fact that many conflicts occur in them. Although those conflicts can cause devastating and negative results, sometimes they can help the development of the organization as well. As conflicts are unavoidable for organizations, it is not important not to have conflicts in such organizations but it is important to keep them under control, consider them as an opportunity and manage them wisely?The environment of the study is targeted primary school teachers in Pendik, İstanbul in 2007-2008 academic year. Subjects are were identified through 355 teachers and administrators selected by simple random sampling. In this study, the?Personal Information Sheet/Form? and the ?Scale of Conflict Management Strategies? were used as data collection tools. The collected data were analyzed through techniques such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA and LSD test to analyze the source of the variance.Key Words:Primary School Teachers, Primary School Administrator, Conflict, Conflict Management, Conflict Management Strategies
