Popular religious level in Imam Hatip High Schools (Semdinli case)

Because religion appeals to society and gives it shape, religion has longbeen a topic for the socialsciences and one of the key areas of study for social scientists. Although religiosity may appear to be an individual trait, its effects make it a social phenomenon. Society and religion are mutually dependent on one another. In the same way that religion has an impact on every part of society; society also has an impact on religion. Religious beliefs, practices, and interpretations play a significant part in determining the level of popular folk religiosity, along with a number of other elements. The modernization processes, which have an impact on society'svalues and way of life, alter how religious leaders think, which in turn affects how the general public thinks. Religions are influenced by previous religions and cultures. The social, economic and political lives of individuals reveal new beliefs that become traditional over time. Conceptssuch as religion, tradition, belief, and culture intertwine. They have almost become an inseparable wholeover time. Popular religious belief sare all expressions that have become famous among the people and include common beliefs and traditions. The popular religiosity will be explored in ourstudy, which is a prevalent and effective form of religion and alsodiscussed popular religiosity's dimensions, link totraditionalism, and factors influencing it.
