Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the value orientations of students studying in imam hatip high schools in terms of various variables. This research is a descriptive study in the general survey model and was conducted with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of 1st and 4th grade students in Imam Hatip High School, who continue their education in Araban district of Gaziantep province, in total 110 students. Personal Information Form and Schwartz Values Scale were used as measurement tools. According to the findings obtained; The most important value of the participants was religiosity. This in order; followed the values of universality, benevolence, security, success, tradition, hedonism and stimulation; the least important value was the power value. It has been observed that there is a significant difference between the place of residence and hedonism value; class level and power value; father education level and benevolence, power, compliance, self-direction, religiosity and security values. It has been observed that there is no significant difference between gender, mother's education level, number of siblings and value orientations.
